Hey Everyone!

This is my first blog entry and it concerns my next review. In our 1st podcast you may have heard Rory mention the next review coming up would be Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PS3. Well there's been a slight change in plans.

"This sequel is still a great action game but it's fundamentally flawed on many levels. The level design, camera, and story really hurt what is otherwise a worthwhile experience. The game is still fun for the most part and fans will get a great kick out of it. This is a definite rental for most 360 owners and fans of the series but I can't fully recommend a purchase."

This is from my first review of Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 at GameCollision. I gave it a 7.7 and after playing Sigma 2 I can tell you my opinion hasn't changed. They've added extra content such as new bosses, new playable characters, and new... sixaxis mechanics, but the game remains fundamentally flawed. The camera is still the worst I've ever dealt with in a videogame and the level design is still lacking. That said it is still a good rental for fans of the series and playstation owners alike. Just don't expect a worthwhile purchase, unless you are a hardcore NG fan.

With all that being said my next review will be Dead Space Extraction on the Wii. I was a big fan of the original Dead Space so I'm excited to see how this Wii shooter holds up. Anyways, keep checking back for more updates and feel free to leave any comments or questions you have. I look forward to hearing from you.

I may be able to write a Burnout Paradise Review on my blog when I have the time. I did purchase the full version a while back and I can say that if you enjoyed the demo, you'll most definitely enjoy the full game. By now the game is probably pretty cheap so I'd recommend getting it if you want more after playing the demo.
